Apartment in a Country Farmhouse

Contact Name
Michele
Details

Do you dream of homesteading but can't afford your own place yet?  This could be just what you're looking for.  A charming old country farmhouse in Fletcher, Vermont, with four apartments in it on 2.75 acres. All private entrances.  One apartment will be opening up later this Spring.

The land was formerly farmed by tenants that grew crops for a weekly farmers market.  Lots of perennials including small cherry trees were left behind. There are wild grapes and apple trees around the border of the property.  Previous tenants have had chickens; other small amounts of farm animals could be negotiated.

Some of the garden was not used last year, so that will take some restoration to bring it back for anyone willing to work at it. There is plenty of space for all tenants to have their own private gardens.

The apartment has an open living room space, kitchen and bath downstairs, bedroom upstairs.  This apartment has a stone basement which is good for crop storage.  Water is from a well onsite.

I am hoping to find someone who is interested in farming or gardening the land again.  If this sounds like you, email me with any additional questions.

$1,150/month Tenant pays own utilities: heat, electricity.  Landlord pays for trash, recycling, snow removal and lawn care.  High speed fiber internet is available, not included. Located on a paved road.
