VT Farmers Market Conference

The 2025 Vermont Farmers Market Conference will be taking place on Monday, March 17th, at the Red School House next to the Vermont State University Campus in Randolph Center. Join us for a day of learning and networking with many farmers market organizers, board members and vendors.

We will enjoy a full day of programming on March 18th followed by a casual gathering afterwards with drinks and snacks. Conference activities will take place from 10:00 - 4:00.

The Conference will feature workshops on:

  • SNAP/EBT and Crop Cash Overview
  • Market Board Best Practices
  • How to Talk to Your Selectboard and other People in Power

Farmers markets are integral to our thriving local food system, and serve as important small business incubators. The annual VT Farmers Market Conference brings together market managers, organizers, vendors, and community members from across the state for a full day of education, resource-sharing, and networking. The conference offers resources and information from service providers, state agencies, and fellow market organizers. To stay informed about what is going on with farmers markets in Vermont, make sure that your market email address is subscribed to the VTFMA listserv.
