The Vermont Farm to School & Early Childhood Network invites you to gather in your region to build connections with fellow farm to school practitioners, find support for your efforts, share best practices, and access resources.
Join us for an evening of peer-to-peer learning and dig into opportunities to strengthen the farm to school movement in Addison County. Hear from local students as they share their food systems inspired projects, learn about upcoming opportunities to deepen your farm to school connections, and take a tour of the Middlebury Union High School cafeteria and greenhouse.
All are welcome — we’re convening anyone who is interested in getting involved with farm to school programming in our region: school nutrition staff, teachers, farm to school coordinators, school administrators, farmers, and families are all invited!
And it wouldn’t be a farm to school gathering without snacks 😉
Participating organizations include: Shelburne Farms, NOFA-VT, Addison County School District, ACORN-VT, Champlain Valley Farmer Coalition, and Hannaford Career Center.
This gathering is a program of the Vermont Farm to School & Early Childhood Network, with funding from the Vermont Agency of Education.
