Greetings! I am relatively new to the world of agriculture (~3 years of experience) and looking for an opportunity to assist a local grower(s) in the Central VT/NEK area. I am currently located in Hardwick and ideally seeking housing as well. Any opportunities for local/on-site housing would be greatly appreciated!

I have studied/worked on various farms that practice biodynamic agriculture in addition to independent study as well. I also have interest and some experience with herbalism and greatly interested in apprentice work in this regard. In addition to garden work, I am able to offer administrative help if needed, as I have vast experience working in that capacity as well.

My love of plants and learning about all different systems of gardening fuels my desire to work in this field and really get my hands dirty. I am a quick and eager learner and wish to also further cultivate my relationship with the Earth and do what I can to nurture our fragile partnership with this beautiful planet.

Additionally, I have my own transportation

Getting Started on the RIGHT Foot with Saffron

Have you been growing it for several years? The North American Center for Saffron Research and Development at the University of Vermont (UVM) and Rodale Institute in Pennsylvania are hosting the 9th annual workshop on Saffron on Thursday May 8, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time.
