We gather together this year to deepen and enliven our awareness of how all success in the organic movement is deeply connected to the wisdom of various cultures that have utilized and honed the agricultural techniques that paved the way for organic farmers today.

Our keynoters this year are two visionaries working to create a more sustainable and just food system locally and globally – Rowen White of Sierra Seed Cooperative and Eric Holt Giménez of Food First. Rowen White is an Indigenous seed steward from the Mohawk community of Akwesasne. She weaves stories of ancestral foods and culture. Eric Holt-Giménez has studied and worked with Latin American farmers that have protected their farms from natural disasters by implementing agroecological methods on their land.

Scholarships and Work Exchange opportunities will be available on a first come first serve basis. We also have additional scholarships available to marginalized communities who would like to join us. Please be in touch if your group is interested.
