UVM Extension invites farmers, technical advisers, agricultural providers, consultants, and others to attend the 2023 No-Till and Cover Crop (NTCC) Conference on Thursday, March 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in So. Burlington, VT.
This event is dedicated to No-Till and Cover Crop systems for field crop growers. Visit with sponsoring ag businesses, farmers, organizations, consultants, agencies and Extension. Guest speakers and topics include:
- Donn Branton, farmer from NY sharing his cover crop and no-till experiences
- Glen Arnold from Ohio State Extension presenting on precision manure management
- Eric Severy from Matthew’s Trucking discussing local manure management
- Aaron Ristow with American Farmland Trust sharing information on the Genesee River Demonstration Farm Network
- Kirsten Workman with Cornell’s PRO-DAIRY program will talk about cover crops and beyond winter rye
- Gerard Troisi, a Pennsylvania Crop Adviser, will present on no-till with cover crop practices in central PA
- Updates on research and projects being done by UVM researchers
