Hey there, I am a 26 year old grass based livestock farmer currently based in Chittenden county. My partner is an organic vegetable farmer, we are beginning to look for lease to own/ transitioning farmers looking to transfer ownership of their land within the next 5-7 years. We are most so interested in soil and water quality present on the land rather than location, though I would love to stay close to the Green Mountains :) We are interested in stewarding a piece of land using organic and regenerative principles to produce all of our own food, while using the the farm as a hub for our community and producing online educational content. Are you an older couple needing more assistance around your farm? Have a piece of land you are interested in transitioning in a less traditional manner? We are not ready to dive into this in the very near future, but are interested in establishing connections with those in the Vermont community who may be interested in the future. We hope for this to be a mutually beneficial relationship, and are skilled and hard working individuals.
