About our farm:

We are Ally and Andrew, the owners and operators of Delicious Dirt Farm & Apothecary in Fairfax, VT. We have been renting our home and farm in Fairfax since 2018. We run a no-till, hand-powered operation that exclusively uses organic seeds and practices. We intensively cultivate a 1/2 acre and have 4 high tunnels. Our sales channels are a 22-family CSA, Jericho Farmers' Market, and several well-established wholesale accounts. Our farming enterprises include vegetables, cut flowers, medicinal herbs, and a popular line of value-added products. Our dream is to find land where we can expand and diversify our farm to a minimum of 2-acres. We plan to plant an orchard, build more greenhouses & beds, establish perennial & biodynamic gardens, as well as grow our CSA & wholesale capacity. We want to continue supporting and cultivating community & climate resiliency with healthy food and soil.

Who we are:

In addition to farming, we both have other passions we pursue. Ally works as a community herbalist, full-spectrum doula, permaculture designer, and musician. Andrew is a photographer and a member of a worker co-operative where he focuses on worker co-op development and democratic workplace training.
