The Addison Community Action (ACA) Food Shelf, part of CVOEO’s Feeding Chittenden Food Access Network, has an opening for a Food Distribution Coordinator. This position will oversee the ACA Food Shelf and work as part of the Feeding Chittenden team to reduce hunger and food insecurity in Addison County. This position will coordinate the Food Shelf and deliver food to households in Addison County through an integrated approach with Feeding Chittenden. Time will be split between overseeing the walk-in ACA Food Shelf and providing direct delivery and outreach to locations throughout Addison County including homes and partnering organizations.
The Food Distribution Coordinator will work with the Feeding Chittenden Food Hub Supervisor to ensure the ACA Food Shelf and Feeding Chittenden Food Hub are modernized, efficient, effective, and clean with an inventory that is accurate and up to date; understand the emerging 10-year Roadmap to End Childhood Hunger in Vermont and be able to operationalize aspects of the Roadmap as part of the CVOEO Feeding Chittenden team.
