Pistil Production is a women run organic flower farm located in Morristown VT. We are looking for an addition to our small team for the 2023 season!
Farming encompasses many skills and tasks and we are looking for a fun, flexible, hardworking individual. Regular field work includes: plant propagation, bed preparation, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, packing, soil ammending, all annual/perennial maintenance.
Other tasks throughout the season may include greenhouse construction, irrigation infrastructure, new establishment of future growing fields and more.
Previous farming experience, knowledge of plant cultivation, tools & equipment is preferred. A strong body and will and love of nature is a must. One must have the ability to work effectively with a small team and also alone.
Field work season May-November. Part-time position to start w/ opportunity for fulltime.
If you love flowers and love farming but are more versed in marketing/sales, record keeping and client communication, or floral design work, there could also be a place for you at Pistil Production!
We do not offer housing. This is a paid position that requires you to have reliable transportation to & from work.
