The farm kitchen at Cedar Circle Farm and Education Center in East Thetford prepares fresh baked bread, pastries, rolls, cookies, coffee cakes, tarts, quiches, muffins, and scones for the farmstand and Hello Café daily. We highlight our in-season fruits and vegetables and pride ourselves on using local and organic ingredients.
The Assistant Baker position is for 2-3 days per week, including weekend days if necessary. Additional hours are available, if desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing the morning bake (cookies, muffins, bread)
- Preparing backstock of doughs (cookie, scones, pie & pizza doughs)
- Assisting the Lead Baker with pies, teacakes, bars, rolls and other baking tasks
- Maintaining a clean, neat and organized work station
- Following all established safety and health inspection protocols
