Collective Garden Manager
April/May–October
The garden manager will work to grow, maintain, and organize the collective garden at Living Tree. The manager will be responsible for coordinating all garden maintenance needs, collaborating with the garden mentor team, and working in close partnership with the Living Tree Alliance Farm Circle and nonprofit educational staff. The farm manages the garden collectively to provide food for youth programming, community festivals, our cohousing community and a refugee family seeking resettlement. Volunteers, residents and youth all join hands in the soil every season for growing vegetables, tree fruit, berries and flowers.
Living Tree Alliance is a farming, residential, and educational community located on 93 acres in the fertile and beautiful Mad River Valley of Central Vermont. Our property includes a co-housing community, pastures for grazing and farming, rivers (with amazing swimming holes), a sugar bush, forests, and a system of hiking and mountain biking trails that connect to the local school and community.
