There are eight specialized workshop tracks, including Beginning Farmer, Community Supported Agriculture, Grazing, Nutrient Density, Organic Land Care Track, Permaculture, Cooperatives, Winter Growing and Season Extension. On Friday, August 9th, five half-day pre-conferences on bees, flowers, poultry, farm profitability & soils will happen, featuring presentations by several Vermonters like "Farming Smarter, Not Harder" with Richard Wiswall, "Honeybee Hive Products" with Ross Conrad, and "Growing and Marketing Cut Flowers" with Diana Doll.
