Farmers markets are integral to our thriving local food culture. This annual conference brings together market managers, organizers, vendors, and community members from across the state for a month of education, resource-sharing, and networking. The conference offers resources and information from service providers, state agencies, and fellow market organizers.
NOFA-VT and the VTFMA take seriously our collective responsibility to those most vulnerable in our society and we are committed to the health and safety of our community. As such, we have decided to host our annual conference online via Zoom. Rather than gathering for a full day on Zoom, we will spread the conference content across the month of March, with webinars happening on Wednesdays between 12:00 and 2:00. We will email a final schedule of events, instructions for using Zoom, and links to the webinar sessions to registered participants in early March.
We will record all webinars and make them available to participants afterwards. This is a great option for folks who may not be able to attend all sessions but still want to access the content.
This conference is sponsored by a USDA AMS Farmers Market Promotion Program grant and the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food, & Markets.
