Meet with other farmers and agriculture professionals to plan a community project that will strengthen farm resilience in the Northeast Kingdom. Participants will engage in a group discussion and activity to gain clarity on the impacts of flooding on farms in the Northeast Kingdom and appropriate strategies for planning and response. Based on these discussions, the research team at the Agricultural Marketing Resource Center (a national organization that supports farm communities) will analyze the information and plan a follow-up action planning session to finalize the community project plan and prioritize the next steps. The planning group will receive $22,500 to fund the project.
These discussions will be facilitated by the Agricultural Marketing Resource Center in partnership with NOFA-VT.
Farmers and food producers may request a $75 stipend to support their attendance at this event. Email Kacey to request the stipend.

Based on these discussions, the research team will analyze the information and plan a follow-up action planning session to finalize the community project plan and prioritize the next steps. The planning group will receive $22,500 to fund the project.
