Plant up a ½ bushel wooden crate with a beautiful mixture of cold hardy herbs and greens that you can harvest and use in the kitchen all season long. We will discuss how to take care of your planter and which herbs can be planted into the ground and/or be brought indoors at the end of the summer. A crate full of fresh, growing herbs and greens is sure to add flavor and interest to all of your summer meals.

This year, our Make + Take classes are 45 minutes long, starting at 5pm and 6pm. Choose a slot that works best for you. $54.

Julie Rubaud, Founder and owner of Red Wagon Plants, will be your instructor for these Make & Take classes. She has devoted her life to cultivating abundant gardens and preparing good food. A community-builder at heart, Julie nourishes Vermont through the home gardeners she inspires and the bounty they produce. In her spare time, Julie can be found organizing jars of tomato sauce and pickles in the basement or tootling around in her garden.
