We invite community members interested in getting dirty, carefully harnessing muscles, and joining earth care community to contribute to an innovative socio-ecological reconciliation project at Shelburne Farms in Shelburne Vermont. Grow skills in plant identification, non-chemical removal of nonnative plant species, tool safety, and ecological restoration principles, design, and practice. No experience needed.

These workshops are involved in site preparation for the project: Myco-Phytoremediation in Multi-Functional Riparian Forest Buffers: Restoration, Education, Training, and Rematriation) which follows up on Section 4.4 of the third article above.
This project, growing from our successful pilot (see third article above), aims to mitigate phosphorus (P) pollution, increase pollinator habitat, facilitate Abenaki land access, foster local ecoliteracy, and inform Riparian Forested Buffer Best Management Practices.
