Farmers looking to enhance their agritourism operations won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to learn key marketing strategies at a workshop hosted by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets (VAAFM) and local marketing agency, Place Creative Company.
Each workshop will cover the same content, offering three convenient opportunities to attend:
Thursday, January 30th 10:00 - 11:30 AM (Virtual)
Monday, February 10th 10:00 - 11:30 AM: This workshop will be in person ONLY and will take place at the VTrans Dill Building A in Berlin.
Tuesday, February 25th 10:00 - 11:30 AM (Virtual)
This workshop will provide farmers with valuable insights into marketing their farm experiences and help integrate their operations into Vermont's brand-new agritourism marketing campaign.
Funded by a Federal State Marketing Improvement Program grant from the USDA, this workshop supports Vermont’s effort to showcase our authentic food and farm experiences to visitors from near and far. Topics will include optimizing your Google business page, utilizing social media effectively, working with local media, and more.
Attendees will also receive a toolkit of resources to help them join the statewide marketing campaign and align their branding with Vermont’s growing agritourism movement. This is a fantastic opportunity for farmers, whether new to agritourism or looking to refine their marketing efforts, to learn practical strategies, connect with fellow producers, and become part of the statewide campaign. It's also ideal for agricultural service providers and food systems organizations who want to support farmers with their marketing efforts and/or join the campaign themselves.
