New Village Farm (Shelburne, VT) is excited to offer a new two-part workshop around cob oven construction.
Join us on Sundays, May 19 & May 26th, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm to learn how to build your own earthen bread and pizza oven from clay and sand. We will explore the entire construction process from foundation to roof, and spend the days building a simple, functional, beautiful earthen oven. This workshop includes hands-on construction, lecture, and presentations covering building fundamentals that include siting, design, structure, moisture protection, materials selection, heating and insulation.
