We are a eco village located on a 300 acre mountain in Johnson Vt. seeking a new resident with eco living and property maintenance skills.
Responsibilities include:
Weeding and mulching of perrinial flower gardens. Weedwacking, mowing, brush cutting and maintenance of our extensive trail system. Assistance with light carpentry jobs, greenhouse and vegetable garden work. Driving small tractor for snow removal. Running pizza oven for monthly gatherings.
In exchange for 12 hours a week work you will receive a private cabin with access to community kitchen that includes laundry and WiFi facilities, outdoor kitchen with pizza oven, garden space, root cellar, weekly yoga/meditation classes, community art studio, sauna, hot tub, swimming pond, pristine drinking water from springs, access to 300 acre trail system surrounded by acres of wilderness. Most importantly stable relationship and community preparing for unstable climate changes. Working beyond weekly 12 hrs exchange an negotiable hourly wage will be offered.
