Full Moon Farm in Hinesburg is in our 25th year of certified organic production! We are an incredibly diverse organic farm that offers a flexible CSA and we need someone who loves great local, organic food, and can communicate that to our members.
Responsibilities:
- Bookeeping associated with CSA sign-ups and sales
- Packing, transporting and setting up all food, tables, tents and supplies for CSA and Market
- Work with wash station manager to keep cooler organized and clean
- Use social media to advertise and connect with customers
- Maintenance of farm store food and supplies
- Write weekly member emails and monthly newsletters
- Communicate with production and wash station teams to stay on top of what's coming in and what's no longer available
- Work Tuesday - Saturday schedule. Sundays and Mondays off
Qualifications:
-Enthusiasm for local and organic food; preference for someone who cooks and loves to share ideas
-Able to do math quickly and efficiently
-Ability to keep long lines of customers engaged and happy
-Must be strong, (able to left 40-50lbs over and over and over again)
-Must be able or willing to drive a 16' boxtruck
-Must have a clean driving record
-Must be able to work outside under most conditions
-Must be able to write clearly and effectively communicate what makes Full Moon Farm special to the public
_Basic knowledge of Mailchimp, Square, Instagram and Facebook
Compensation:
- hourly wage $16 - $20/hr
