Full Moon Farm in Hinesburg is seeking an organic-food loving, people-person to help connect our members and customers to the farm they love! Spend half your time in the vegetable fields and half your time in the human field! This can be either a FT position, Tues - Sat, or a PT position ( if field work isn’t your gig,) May - Nov, with some possible PT work in March and April. The ideal manager should possess good people skills, an artistic eye, a love of math, (or at least the ability to do lots of it in a busy environment,) a familiarity with a variety of vegetables, good spatial awareness, a healthy and strong body constitution, (able to lift 50lbs over and over and over again,) strong social media skills, the ability to function in all kinds of weather, and an ability to think on one’s feet.
