Please join us for an opportunity to hear what other farmers are doing to mitigate their impacts on climate and to resist and adapt to the impacts climate change is having on Vermont’s working landscape. Are you farming and trying to balance reducing fossil fuel use, good stewardship of for the air, land and water, and with also being able to make a living? Do you want to get a clear sense of the projections for the VT climate, and discuss it with fellow farmers? Do you want to see some old friends and make some new ones that know the trade and maybe hobnob a little? Then please pull up a chair to the Farmers Banquet.

To reserve a ticket please RSVP with Rural Vermont. Tickets will be available at the door until they are sold out. We encourage people to reserve tickets ahead of time, since capacity is limited. No one turned away for lack of funds.

THE FARMERS BANQUET
Join us for a harvest dinner prepared by Heartwood Catering and friends. The meal will feature produce and other products from Vermont farms. Vegan and gluten-free options will be available. Some of the items on the menu include creamy pumpkin soup, slaw with citrus vinaigrette, poached carrots, beetroot pasta with brown butter and fried sage, and apple crisp.
To make the event run smoothly, we need volunteers to help in the kitchen and to help at the door, setup, and breakdown. Volunteers can attend the event for free!
