Farm Bike Repair Workshop

Sunday, December 17, 2017 - 9:00am to 12:00pm

Everything you need to know to keep your bike working like a well-oiled machine. We will learn the basics of maintaining a safe, functioning farm-friendly bicycle including proper adjustment of brakes, shifting and bearings, fixing flat tires, and ways to turn your bike into a farm-worthy transport tool. Each farmer participant will receive a complimentary small tool kit: folding tool, tire levers, patch kit, small pouch/bag.

This training is free to area farmers. If you are not a farmer or from away, please consider making a $25 donation to the Essex Farm Institute to cover the costs of your participation.
