We did it! We're proud to report that H.112, the GMO labeling bill, was passed in the VT House of Representatives by a vote of 99-42.

Now it will move to the Senate to be taken up in the next session, which begins in January 2014. This is the first broad-reaching GMO labeling bill to be passed by a state legislative body - Vermont is leading the nation again!

As the season begins, don't forget that the Department of Labor considers anyone working on your farm to be an employee for legal purposes - that includes apprentices, interns, or working members.
