Butter, Yogurt and Cheese Making
Sunday, April 5, 2020 - 1:00pm to 4:30pm
Learn how to make delicious Butter, Yogurt, Ricotta Cheese and Fromage Blanc Cheese from organic, grass-fed, raw milk!
The class is set up in our humble kitchen for hands-on learning, food tasting and discussions that can take us all over the place... from the nutrient value of farm fresh milk, to the joys of homestead farming, to having a family cow, buying local, and more.
There will be a handout for the class with directions for everything we will be making.
What to bring: come with an appetite, a couple small containers and a small cooler/insulated bag in case there is some cheese or butter to bring home or if you plan to purchase some cheese or yogurt cultures.
Items for sale after the class include: Raw milk (if supplies allow), cheese cultures, yogurt cultures, citric acid and butter muslin cloth. We also have maple syrup, pottery and preserves for sale.
$40 per person, or $75 for 2 people.
