PRESENTERS' CORNER: 2019 NOFA-VT WINTER CONFERENCE
Each year, the NOFA-VT Winter Conference provides a valuable opportunity for farmers, homesteaders, gardeners, land managers, educators, producers, and other food-system activists to participate in our vibrant organic community by sharing ideas, resources, and skills.

BEST PRACTICES FOR WORKSHOP SUCCESS
We want all presenters to have engaging and successful workshops, and therefore we've compiled some best practices to help you plan your workshop and ensure your success.
TECHNOLOGY AT THE CONFERENCE
While you are not required to use any computer-based technology as part of your presentation, many presenters do use PowerPoint or similar programs as well as internet-based resources to illustrate their discussions.
If you are choosing to use a computer-based technology, please review this information. All presentation rooms at UVM are equipped with a computer, LCD projector and internet access (you do not need to have your Wifi code for these computers). If you are using Powerpoint, please bring your presentation on a flash drive and have it backed up on your email or another way. If you are worried about your presentation losing its formatting as you switch between computers and operating systems (mac vs. pc), you can always save it as a pdf. There are instructions on how to do that here. You may also bring your own computer, but please bring an adapter if you are using a mac, and always have an alternate way to access your presentation. The UVM Tech Support phone number will be placed in the front of every room next to the computer. Call this number if you have any trouble.
