Seeking Land Donations for BIPOC stewardship

An emergent "Every Town" project seeks to secure land across Vermont for BIPOC stewardship. Its first effort is to create a farm incubator and learning farm to serve BIPOC in the upper valley of Vermont. The parcel will be large enough to accommodate housing for at least three farmers at a time, and have sufficient acreage for grazing, growing vegetables and agroforestry.  Existing farming infrastructure such as a farmhouse, barn and other outbuildings would be ideal for this project.

Our hope is for a site located in Vermont with close proximity to Dartmouth College and its diverse community.

If you would like to make a land donation to support the future of BIPOC farmers, or a financial donation toward this project please contact Maggie Donin ([email protected]) at the Vermont Land Trust or Kenya Lazuli ([email protected]).
