NOFA-VT Policy & Advocacy Intern 2019
The Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont (NOFA-VT) is seeking a Policy and Advocacy Intern for the Fall 2019 semester (September- December.) Reporting to the Policy Advisor, the Policy & Advocacy Intern will assist with research, policy development and educational initiatives related to NOFA-VT’s strategic focus on agriculture as a solution to climate change. The intern will assist with and attend our upcoming three-part on-farm soil health workshop series aimed at engaging farmers and partners in developing soil health policy solutions for Vermont. They will also conduct research on agricultural solutions to climate change, creating a toolkit to inform NOFA’s leadership in promoting organic farming as a critical tool in climate change mitigation.
