Full Season Production Crew - Organic Vegetables - Root 5 Farm

Root 5 Farm. Fairlee, Vermont.
Full time, full season position (40 hours/week) March-December.
The full season production crew participates in all aspects of food production including greenhouse seedling production, planting, hoeing, weeding, mulching, harvesting, washing, packing, and delivering produce. The full season crew will assist with farm infrastructure projects (i.e. building hoop houses, renovating the barn) as well as value added food production projects (i.e. making sauerkraut and kimchi). Other job responsibilities can be designed around the employee's skills and interests.

Qualifications: Must be enthusiastic about local organic agriculture, have a minimum of one complete growing season of farming experience, be energetic and be physically able to perform repetitive tasks while standing or kneeling, and enjoy being outside in diverse weather conditions. Must work well with a crew and independently, be self-motivated to learn, work hard, and have excellent quality control while working quickly and efficiently. Must be trustworthy, reliable and responsible.
