Tribute to Enid

Enid Wonnacott, executive director of the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont for the past 31 years and a deeply committed advocate for organic farming and the agricultural community at large, passed away on January 19, 2019. A tribute to Enid and her work was held at the 37th Annual NOFA Vermont Winter Conference on February 16, 2019. Hosted by Peter Forbes, the tribute features remarks by farmers Jack Lazor (Butterworks Farm), Scout Proft (Someday Farm) and Andy Jones (Intervale Community Farm) and a musical performance by Chris Dorman.

For one special evening on Sunday, February 10, gather with us at The Great Northern for a grazing-style dinner (many small, passed plates and bites) to celebrate local food and benefit Jr Iron Chef VT!
