Why are you seeking an apprenticeship or work opportunity on an organic farm in Vermont?
Three years ago I came to the abrupt realization that while I sincerely cared about a lot of things, I wasn't living in a way that aligned with my values. Once I accepted that, I quit the job I held in a field that I worked in for sixteen years. I donated my car, deleted social media accounts and got rid of my phone in order to pursue a harmonious relationship with the Earth & Universe. I sought to lead a lifestyle that not only felt good in my heart, but one that was rooted in environmental ethics, animal welfare and strongly emphasized quality of life.
Other Food Restrictions
No food restrictions. Must have copious fluid (water) intake. And generally prefer to have Milk & Protein options with every meal.

Physical Labor
I've been involved in physical activity since I was a kid. Aside from being the rambunctious middle child and having four brothers; I have always been involved in physical activity in some capacity or another Sports, Gym, Etcc..
Do You Have Transportation?
Yes
How did you hear about the program?

Medical Issues
I have ADHD that is being managed appropriately. The medication I take can make thirsty and at times does require that I have above average fluid intake on days with average temperatures and average heat index. On days when these variables run high to excessively high I must have consistent/regular access to water..

I manage/maintain these circumstances by usually having 2 Nalgene bottles of water on me at all times. I also have a camelbak hydration pack that I use when needed and have coolers as secondary sources for keeping water at a cool drinking temperature.

I have environmental allergies, maintained with Rx and my inahalers.

I am also allergic to bees. Commonly treated with benadryl, ibuprofen, ice or a combination of the three. Extreme cases (Anaphylaxis), like being stung by several or an entire hive at once; would require the use of my Epinephrine Auto Injector(s), commonly known as Epi-Pens. I am self carry. And it takes only minutes to teach/train anyone how to administer. My nephew learned at 5-years-ol; he is now 8. (I have a practice one, that I keep on hand to train new friends and employers).

I promise it's not as crazy as it reads..

What do you perceive will be your reaction to living and learning with new and unknown people in a rural area?
I'm a city kid, with a country heart. My Nana lived in Ossipee NH when I was a kid and later, Colebrook NH. During the school year I lived in the city and many Summer's were spent up North.

I'm gunna heart it big time! I just had a work live exprience that lasted three months and it was life changing. I met 10 strangers and left with 10 family members, it was just the thing that I needed. I love meeting new people and strive to understand the human condition through direct one-on-one and team interaction.
