Why are you seeking an apprenticeship or work opportunity on an organic farm in Vermont?
Because i am very interested in farming as a lifestyle/career and i am a strong supporter of the local agricultural movement: i wish to immerse myself in it and learn as much as i can.

Apprentice Goals
I wish to take as much away from my experience on a farm this summer as possible; i am in it learn, and i am willing to give it my all.
Work Experience
I have been a ski coach on and off the snow for the past 3 or 4 years. I work for carrabassett valley academy at sugarloaf in the winter and in the summer i am a tramp and skate counselor with a strong focus on air awareness to carry over to the snow. I also have done a season of landscaping, which sparked my interest in planting and the growth of plants.

I feel that i am a flexible person and am easy to get along with. I strive to be open minded and treat everyone equally. I also am a hard worker with a passion for the outdoors.
What do you hope to take away from an experience working on an organic farm?
I wish to learn the entire process from seed to sale of vegetables, and i also want to learn about animal husbandry. I also wish to learn as much about soil as possible.
