My farmstand is a portable "barn on wheels" that I keep parked roadside on Rte 12 in Northfield Falls. It is based on the honor system as my farm is just up the road so I make a couple trips down to restock throughout the day. I also drive it to the Northfield Farmers Market each Tuesday from 3-6 pm.

At Pardonfield Farm, we grow fruits, vegetables, and herbs by hand in raised beds and in our small greenhouses. We do not use chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. In fact, we do not use any machines - tractors, cultivators, rototillers - that may leak oil or other chemicals into the soil. Composted manures, worm castings, and vegetable compost enrich our beds. Cucumbers, beans, peas, and tomatoes are carefully trellised and every crop is individually cared for. Beneficial insects are encouraged, and harmful insects are picked off by hand. Companion planting is practiced, techniques that yield plants and vegetables that are beautiful, tasty, and wholesome. Pardonfield Farm Baked Goods are made from the best Vermont ingredients including King Arthur Organic Flour, Vermont Butter and Cheese Co.'s organic cultured butter, produce from our garden and eggs from our small flock of chickens. Open June through October, 9am-6pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
