Mud City Loop Homestead Hop & NOFAvore Social

Calling all homesteaders! This Homestead Hop will bring you on a tour of neighboring homesteads on the "Mud City Loop" in Morrisville. You'll be in your glory visiting different homesteads, modeling various food systems. Covered in the tour: a small-scale veggie CSA and non-commercial gardens containing a maple operation, root cellars, small greenhouse, small cow dairy, raspberries, laying hens, meat birds, plant nursery, season extension systems, cold storage, meat goats and more. The final stop will be at the Rooney Farm CSA Garden, where you can enjoy some freshly prepared pizzas topped with local ingredients at the NOFAvore Social beginning at 5:30pm. 

Pre-registration is required to attend the workshop and requested to attend the NOFAvore social. (A donation is suggested if you dine at the NOFAvore social.)

Directions: From the Green Top Market in Morristown, follow Walton Road, which bears left. Take the first left onto Cole Hill Rd. Take the next right onto the Mud City Loop. Travel 2 miles, taking the first left onto Tine McKee Rd. The Rooney Farm CSA garden is on the left as you go up the hill.
