Join us for farm-fresh pizza and a community celebration! Learn more about Someday Farm’s diversified agricultural practices at their new additional location, Three Farm, go on a farm tour, and share a meal with your neighbors. At the Three Farm location, Someday Farm grows five acres of vegetables and small fruits, several thousand birds (pheasants and turkeys) and a few cows, and also manages the farm's compost operation. This collaborative model has been highly effective and has allowed several different agricultural businesses to develop. Someday Farm / Three Farm is proud of their status as the only working diversified farm in Dorset's Mettowee Valley. They market their products through our one of Vermont’s oldest CSA, farmstand, and a weekly farmers market.
Please note: Biosecurity is a genuine concern. Please help preserve the health of birds and animals and do NOT wear your farm shoes/boots this event.
Directions: If coming from the south, Someday Farm @ Three Farm is located one mile north of Dorset Village Green on Route 30, on the left hand side. If coming north Route 30 (and heading south Rt 30), it will be a mile beyond Mettowee Mill Nursery on the right hand side. Look for a large white barn with a blue silo surrounded by fields and pastures.
Parking: Please park as near to the white barn as possible, or along Route 30. We will have parking areas roped off and marked with signage.
Will this be handicap accessible? To a certain degree. The social at the barn is wheelchair accessible. Depending on the quality of wheelchair, the farm tour may be manageable.
