Celebrate Your Farmer Social: Kimball Brook Farm

September 5, 2013 - 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Join us for farm-fresh pizza and a community celebration! Kimball Brook Farm is a certified organic dairy that also began pasteurizing and bottling their milk for distribution throughout New England in 2012 as Green Mountain Organic Creamery. Come meet the farmers behind this innovative operation, meet their herd, and learn more about what it means to be an organic dairy in the state of Vermont.

The Devos family has farmed at Kimball Brook Farm in North Ferrisburg,Vermont since the 1960’s and chose to convert their 200 head operation to an organic dairy farm in 2005. In 2009, they realized there was a market for organic, high quality milk products produced here in Vermont and the Devos began exploring their own processing and bottling plant. In June 2012, Kimball Brook Farm began pasteurizing and bottling their organic milk which is now for sale throughout New England.
