NOFAvore Socials

Wood-fired Pizza

This year we will be hosting two kinds of NOFAvore socials,  both providing opportunities for important feedback from our community and featuring products from the host farm  and plenty of time to socialize and enjoy the company of fellow NOFAvores.

At the two socials on July 9 and August 6, you can join in a discussion about the new efforts of Vermont Organic Farmers (VOF) to market certified organic products statewide. VOF Certification Staff will unveil a new marketing campaign intended to increase consumer awareness and purchasing of Vermont certified organic products. Farmers will also gain new skills in marketing the benefits of local and organic to consumers. A brief survey will be handed out along with the meal.

The remaining five socials will be NOFA socials, in which we will invite your comments on the direction YOU think NOFA Vermont should take in the future. We’re in the midst of developing our five-year strategic plan, and we want to hear from you as we determine our priorities over the next five years and beyond. These socials follow workshops, but workshop attendance is not required. However, pre-registration is requested to attend these socials.
